| The car was bought on 03/14/70 at Courtesy Cheverolet Center.El-Paso Tx. The owner (Tom Martin) lived in Alamogorto,New Mexico. The Corvette was then taken to Randolph, Ma. Still owned by the Martin family. A Midas invoice for exhaust and Brake work was found in the Corvette is dated Oct. 15,1974. It appears by paperwork found,the Car was then sold to a Matt Robinson of Manassas,Va. Sept.1975. Then the Corvette was sold again to Daniel Robinson of Clinton,Md. in July,1976. He had the Car repainted in Candy Apple red,and had the Factory 1969 Side exhaust installed. The car was slowly moved out of the Garage as more Classic cars were bought. One day the Corvette didn't start and was left in the Driveway to sit for quite awhile. I found the Corvette through a friend and bought it in May,1991. while serving at Andrew's A.F.B. Md. After I bought it, I found it was a #'s matching Corvette with quite a bit of the origional paperwork still with the Car. Troubleshooting the Corvette I found the original Starter was bad. From there the Corvette was gone through, painted and the interior was replaced. Everything was cleaned and detailed. The Corvette was featured in the 1993 Issue of "VETTE" Magazine. The Corvette is now in Skiatook,Ok. |
