Posted 01/21/2024 1980 ALL ORIGINAL Chevrolet Corvette with ONLY 15,000 MILES!!! EVEN HAS THE ORIGINAL TIRES. Overall, exceptionally clean. No Rust. Wheels look like new. No scratches or curb rash. This car was driven around 1,500 miles per year from 1980 to 1990. It was then put in a garage and sat for the past 34 years. Pulled the car out, changed the fluids and it fired right up. It does run a little rough. Carburetor likely needs to be gone through after sitting for so long. The fact that it started right up after all these years, is amazing. Give it a quick tune up and it should run great! As it is, still runs and drives. Body is perfectly straight all around. Paint looks amazingly well for a 40+ year old car. The only notable flaw is on the front bumper. At the center point, the paint is chipped. There is another chip on the left front. Repaint the front bumper and it would be nearly perfect. Just a few minor typical small rock chips around other areas of the car. Some of the trim pieces have paint that has faded away (Around T-Tops, etc.), typical for this age of car. No swirl marks or evidence that it has been excessively washed (likely garaged its entire life, other than the 15,000 miles it made it outside. Interior is overall in very good shape. Only items noted that need attention include: Left door pull handle seems to be missing a bolt on the top end. And the emergency brake release button slides off the pull handle. Other than those two items, no excess wear noted. Still has the original bags for storing the T-Tops. Car is all original with ONLY 15,000 MILES!!! Original wheels AND TIRES. California Car. Likely has never felt a rain drop. Very rare to find one of these cars with original tires. As a California car, even more rare.
