Car history: |
Here I have a beautiful 1972 Corvette LS5 Numbers Matching 454 with auto transmission. This has been a very well cared for vette, spending most of its life in florida. Factory options include pwr windows, power steering, power brakes, A/C has been converted to 134 as well as most of ac components were replaced. Paint is very nice but has some blemishes. The motor and Transmission had been rebuilt by the previous owner and work wonderful. I have had a few things rebuilt as well including the rear end, rear suspension, (upgraded fiberglass spring) both trailing arms fully rebuilt, S.S brakes and all new rotors all the way around, emergency brake with ss hardware, tires are like brand new. Interior is really nice featuring newer carpet, and door panels. The new radio is currently out of the car but is included. It is a retro sound upgrade original style $500.00 value. Quality and power upgrades include HP holley 750 carb with electric choke suits the car very well, edelbrock torker intake manifold, new headman ceramic coated headers, Msd distributor, wires and 6a msd ignition. All of these upgrades were added to bring the car to todays quality operating standards as well as really bringing out the power potential these cars were made to originally have. I did keep the original leaf spring, carb, intake manifold and exhaust manifolds that came out of the car which will be included in the sale. I can not say enough about how well this car runs and drives mechanically it is just a fantastic car. Bringing to life plenty of power while maintaining the great every day drivability. Have all receipts. BiN $31,500, but sold for $27,500 on July 28, 2016. For sale again at BiN $25,000 but reached $22,600 (RnM) on August 14, 2016. |
