Car history:
1972 Corvette T-Top, 350, Auto w/Air Originally Targa Blue with a medium blue interior. Rebuilt from front to back last year. A total of $12,000.00 was spent on parts alone mainly through Ecklers, Davies Corvettes and Van Steel. Currently has 1,800 miles since complete rebuild. I have receipts for all the work done. I did not paint the car, but the hard mechanical work is done. I do have a new interior and window rubber seal kit in boxes ready to be installed by the new owner. When I replaced the gas tank the original Copy Order sheet was there. This is an original unmolested car. I purchased this car 5 years ago, it sat in my garage for 2-1/5 yrs. then sat in the shop for 8 months while it was being rebuilt. Now I drive it a couple times a week with no issues. We are planning on moving out West and the car would not be a good fit where we are looking. Body: Painting the car and fixing the few flaws it has would be up to the new owner. Originally Targa blue, someone painted the car white and removed and filled in most of the emblems. I did buy NOS replacements. The car cleans up to a great shine and is nice enough to be driven daily. Interior: The interior is all original. I sent the seatbelt retractors out to be rebuilt, they are installed in the car and work great. I did replace the speedometer when the mechanical restoration was complete. I have a complete new interior in boxes which includes a carpet kit, seat covers and cushions, door panels, emergency brake cover and kick panels. I also have a window rubber kit that needs to be installed. Motor: Original motor rebuilt bored 30 over, installed a mild cam to boost the HP. Mallory Unilite HEI distributor was installed. Radiator was pressure tested and painted, new condenser for a/c. Heater core was replaced as well as all the hoses and valves associated with the a/c and cooling system. Original 4 BBL carb has been rebuilt. Gas tank, sending unit and all lines were replaced. A/C: All the parts associated with the a/c have been replaced. It does need the a/c compressor and the 2 brackets. Transmission: Rebuilt, no shift kit but was drilled out to shift a little tighter. Rear: Was taken apart and all seals and bearings were replaced. All new universal joints with grease fittings were installed. Suspension: Completely rebuild including all rubber bushings, KYB shocks, steering, emergency brake with stainless parts, new calipers and pads, brake booster, bearings etc. Exhaust: Chambered exhaust with 4 chambers and aluminized pipe. Tires and wheels: Tires are in great shape and the wheels are old school aftermarket. I had a 4 wheel alignment done when the car came out of the shop. I did buy original wire hubcaps and also beauty rings and caps because I wasnt sure which originally came with the car. Headlights and wipers: This entire system was replaced with a Dr. Rebuild kit and works great. All the valves and the 2 headlight canisters were replaced.
