Opportunity Notice! Super Low 27k Original Mile 1972 Corvette!!! Factory owner's manual and Protect-o-Plate come with the car! This car is available for sale now both here and on our showroom floor. Please read the entire ad and then phone or email with your questions, 360-416-4995!!! This car has had the same owner since the early 70's. She purchased it and drove it daily until she started her family. With only 2 seats it wasn't practical so its use was becoming limited. One night (around 1978) the original Rally wheels were stolen. The In-Style 5-Slot mags and BF Goodrich tires replaced them and are still in excellent condition. The car was soon parked in the garage where it would see very little use to the point where it was no longer licensed and was nearly forgotten. It has just emerged from storage on November 16th to be sold. Body: The body is in good condition with no signs of current or prior accident damage. The paint has some small stone chips from driving but is still quite presentable. The paint is still nice & shiny with a good luster. Interior: The original black leather interior is still in good condition. There is wear from use including a wear through mark on the driver's lower corner typical on these cars from having to drop down into the seat. The rest of the leather is nice. The original carpets are still in good condition, not perfect but they look good. The emergency brake handle plastic is broken, new ones are available here on eBay. Power train: The engine is the original numbers matching 350 4 Barrel with 360 ft/lbs of torque. It is stock down to the original intake & exhaust manifolds. The carburetor has been rebuilt, new spark plugs and points installed. The engine runs very well with no smoke, knocks or odd noises. The automatic shifts properly and goes into gear quickly. The brakes were serviced about 7 years ago when the car was going to be driven again, which didn't quite happen. At that point the calipers were all replaced with stainless lined units. The master cyl and some of the brake hoses were replaced as well. The brakes currently work well. Tires/Wheels: The original tires and wheels were replaced in 1978 with these 5- slot mags and BF Goodrich Radial T/A's when the originals were stolen. The 'slots' were in style when this happened and back then it was an upgrade! The tires are in good condition thanks to being stored indoors. I do not see any obvious signs of weather checking and the tires are still soft. Due to their age I would personally replace the tires and go back to the original wheels with newer tires. The electrical appears to be in order, the gauges work, headlights, turn signals, charging, starter etc. One of the original headlights did burn out and we have not replaced it yet. The vacuum headlights work excellent. These are the best working units we have seen. The vacuum operated wiper door opens correctly but does not return to closed and will need some attention.
