Absolutely beautiful 1970 red Corvette with 4 speed and air. This car has gorgeous paint and a super straight body as well as a very smooth and strong powertrain. The bumpers are straight with perfect chrome, the glass is very nice, the engine starts immediately and runs smoothly with no abnormal noises or smoke. The clutch, shifter and trans all work much more smoothly than I remember from back in the day and the brakes and steering are in excellent working condition. Exhuast system seems fine and no leaks are obvious to me. Now,to answer a few questions: No, I do not know if any numbers match. I have no idea if this is the original color. The mileage can not be considered correct. it says 350/300hp on the air breather. who knows? who cares? yes the paint is extremely nice. can your buddy find a flaw somewhere? probably! the a/c appears to be an add-on. how nice is the interior? pretty darn nice, NOT perfect. the wheels have been repainted but are not that great of a job. reproduction tires are like new. headlight doors work well for now as does the windshield wiper door. It is a great driver, but I would call it way nicer than most drivers. It could win many local shows right now, but it is not what I call a show car. It really does have a great body and paint and the drivetrain needs nothing. 37,185 miles. July 24, 2008.
