Car history: |
04/15/2014 Motorbahn, an international classic car dealership, is offering this truly stunning 1972 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe that is All number's matching. Not only is this beauty number's matching, it is a true frame-off restoration. Please see some of the documented pictures along with the original build sheet and owner's manual. This classic Vette has been inspected by our mechanics to have the correct engine casting numbers, engine assembly codes, transmission casting date, engine casting dates, engine & VIN derivatives, and transmission casting numbers. Everything mentioned has been verified. This Corvette is not only well-documented, it is gorgeous! The paint is near flawless. The interior is all new with new carpet, door panels, and new seats. It may appear from the pictures that the carpet is not new because the flash makes the black carpet fade a little. Trust us, it is all new and smells new. The chrome bumpers and mirror are also new. This classic also drives out as well as it looks. The 350 V8 engine and transmission were rebuilt at the same time the frame-off restoration took place which was about 5 years ago. The previous owner states that there have been less than 2,000 miles put on the car since the restoration was done. All the electrical and vacuum systems work flawlessly. Even the original AM/FM radio works although it is not the best quality. Another great feature for this amazing piece of American Muscle history is that it has Corvette factory A/C! Not only does it have A/C, it blows cold! All in all, this is a true well-documented muscle classic. |
