Car history: |
1) NO TITLE PARTS ONLY. For bid is a 1969 Corvette Convertible with a fiberglass wide body kit. Kit resembles some of the Eckler kits but the manufacturer is not known. Vehicle does not currently run, however I did have it running about 2 years ago. Engine is a 1972 350, Muncie 4sp Transmission with 3.82 rear gears. This is for parts only there is no title available with the vehicle. American racing wheels are in good condition with no curb rash. Frame is in excellent condition with black paint still on most of the frame as seen in pictures. Interior shows signs of being outside but is mostly intact needing door panels and seat covers. I do have most of the small parts that go along with the interior. Body has some light damage, front bumper is broken off but I have the bumper, and a hole in the rear bumper. Mounts for the mirrors need reinforced but no major damage. Car does come with a new white top kit. Actual mileage is unknown odometer states 37000. Currently vehicle has no brakes, appears to have leaked all the fluid out. I have not investigated the cause. This would be a good parts car or a good project for someone that has the time to get a title. Engine internals are not known, it does have a 600 Holley carb, Mallory distributor, headers, chrome brackets, and aluminum oil pan and valve covers. Buyer is responsible for pick up from Evansville, Indiana. Today I placed a known reliable carburetor and battery in the car (the battery and carb used to start the car do not come with the car). I was able to put fuel in the bowls and start the car. I can do the same at pickup if you would like to hear it run. I did not hook up any fuel lines just started the car briefly as mentioned. SORRY FOR ANY CONFUSION, I just confirmed the VIN this is a 1968 CORVETTE, NOT a 1969 CORVETTE. However it does have some features of a 1969 such as the key is on the column not the dash which threw me off. Sold for $6,301 on May 23, 2018. |
