Car history: |
I bought this car almost 8 years ago and have driven it almost daily. It has given me no mechanical trouble what so ever. It has new bushings on the front, new brakes, the transmission was serviced in November 2008, i kept the oil changed on time, it runs and drives great! I have had 5 different people look at this car in the past and i'm told there is no sign of any type of bodywork, the car has never been wrecked, handles great. However, the original paint code for this car is the Ontario Orange color for the exterior. The car, as you can see now is white, it was when i bought it. Apparently the previous owner didn't like that color and had it painted white. The prep job for this paint on this car was not done exactly perfect, as the paint is slightly going away from around the tail lights. It is good every where else on the car. This is the last year for the chrome bumpers front and back, the rear window pops out, the windshield wipers come up through a working door that closes after they are turned off. All the vacuum on this car is in good working order, no lazy headlights etc. All the guages work, except for the tach, which i'm told is just an inexpensive plastic gear which can be repaired from under the hood. It does have a/c and heat. Tilt wheel, and telescopic steering wheel options too. The car is straight all the seams line up and the doors are in great line, no saggy doors, and close with ease. Electric windows. This is also the only vette i've seen that consistantly runs at 190 degrees all day long no matter how hot it is outside. Definitely a PLUS for a vette. 73,465 miles. Colors from the owner. January 31, 2009. |
