Original 1970 Corvette LS5 454, automatic, PS, PB, air conditioned coupe. Car is equipped with the original T-tops, AM/FM radio, luggage rack and security alarm. Car was originally Daytona Yellow with black vinyl interior and was originally delivered to Luby Chevrolet in Miami, Florida. Unfortunately the Protect-O-Plate and tank sticker are long gone. Clear title in my name shows 86,170 miles and was last inspected in 1982. This is a project car in need of a total restoration. This car deserves to be restored. Previous owner dismantled the car for the purpose of performing a ground up restoration and passed away prior to completion. Many of the parts were tagged and marked during disassembly. Upon my inspection I believe the car has a majority of its original parts including its original numbers matching 454 and automatic transmission which have the original VIN stamping present on both. Motor is totally disassembled. Block does not appear to be damage or worn beyond rebuilding. Other parts included are the original 1970 only lower grilles (no pitting and only missing one or two mounting studs), side grilles, bumpers, radiator and correct original date coded radiator tank, A/C condenser, air cleaner, intake/exhaust manifolds, gas tank, drive and half shafts and many other parts included. Car is missing the original dated Q-Jet carb, big block A/C fan with clutch, A/C compressor and brackets. I was able to acquire some of these parts and they can be purchasing separately by the winning bidder if interested. Body has some damage primarily a few body cracks on the front end and rear corner. See photos. Sections of the original A/C evaporator box was removed via a saw. I have a used box which is included. Ended at $5,700 (RnM) on June 10, 2016. BiN $9,500 (Ended) on June 20, 2016. |
