| Well maintained and matching numbers Corvette Stingray with exceptional documentation then stop here. I have a show winner, garaged kept Stingray Convertible with all of 60,500 miles in fantastic condition up for auction. The car is a great color combination of bright yellow with a black-cloth convertible top installed in 1997 (still like new). The interior is in great shape with silver leather trim with all lights & instruments working except for the clock (they never work). The engine is the L-48 option (turbo-fire 350 ci; V8; 5.7 liter; very strong), MATCHING NUMBERS with minor bolt-on modifications such as an Edelbrock intake and Edelbrock carb (I still have Rochester carb). The transmission is a 4-speed manual with a new clutch & components that was replaced back in 1999. The car has a stainless steel exhaust and emits a very nice low rumble when cruising or at idle. Options includes – power windows, rear window defogger, power brakes, power steering, map light and tilt-telescopic steering wheel (see invoice photo). The radio has been updated with a vette custom pioneer model (still have original radio) along with Bose speakers in the back compartment and Boston acoustics in front. The rear compartment has been restored with a custom rug that looks really sharp. The car sits on its original rally rims and has BF Goodrich 60’s that have plenty of tread left in them. The body and frame of this shark are in great shape. The rear and front polyurethane bumpers were replaced because they tend to crack as they age over time. The proper 2-piece rear bumper was fitted with a fiberglass replacement along with the front bumper replacement and had them painted and blended into the body. It looks GREAT. Numbers matching and incredible documentation separates this corvette from the rest of the pack. Paperwork includes – original invoice, owner’s manual, salesman notes, window sticker, car shipper, car order, trade-in papers (traded a ’73 Camaro), dealer inspection and temporary registration. Included is a photo of the original owner along with a nice letter of correspondence to the owner before me. This car has been loved and cared for by 4 owners before me. I have owned this vette for 2 years and previous owner purchased in April 1996. I have driven only 1500 miles - just a weekend toy. No worry with the clutch, motor, transmission, any rust, radiator, exhaust, brakes, power steering, suspension, interior, convertible top or body; that’s all been taken care of. 60,486 miles from the odometer.
