Car history:
1) This '70 Corvette with 48,812 original miles is seriously special. The previous owner bought it through an estate and performed a lengthy list of procedures. To begin, the car has been frame-off restored to factory specs and the drivetrain is completely numbers matching, with the original motor being upgraded with roller rocker arms. The previous owner had the restoration professionally done through a local shop that specializes in Corvettes. During their re-assembly the car was stripped to bare metal and re-painted. A new battery, new spark plugs, wires, belts, and hoses have been added, and all the fluids have been replaced. In addition, the entire disc brake system has been completely re-done, adding new lines and hoses throughout. The chrome, glass, and black soft-top are in excellent condition as well, just check out the pictures to see for yourself! The previous owner also decided to throw in the factory option luggage rack for a final touch. The 1970 Corvette was upgraded to overcome the production issues associated with the earlier year C3 Corvettes, and was the first year to introduce factory fender flares. It was one of the last years with both front and rear chrome bumpers. 1970 was also a very low production year due to a labor strike at GM, making this Corvette even more valuable.
