| I am selling this 1970 corvette for my older friend. According to him this car runs and drives and he had it out last year and I did see it on the road. Currently it is stored in the far northern point of Wisconsin. It is White with brown interior. I would say the interior needs to be replaced including carpet and seat covers. The Exterior paint is not terrible but it is not show quality by any means. The previous owner repalced the headlight with the Eckler non flip up headlights. He has the original headlights that can be re-installed. I have not seen them but he says he has them. It looks to be a 350 small block NOT original motor that has a HEI distributor and looks like newer headers. It does have the nice looking chrome side pipes. This car is wedge in his little storage shed for the winter so I could not get to the back or pass side. Please see pictures. From what I can see it appears the normal rust spots on the radiator core support but from what I could see on the frame appears solid with no rust through. I removed the t top on the drivers side and the birdcage doesn't look to be rusted out. The speedo says 81,000 but he says it doesn't work and the manual transmission he says could use a syncro gear from 1/2 gear but he drives it anyway. He says the brake and newer calipers but they look a little rusty to me. Clear title. It has the 427 big block hood but it is NOT a big block. Probably 350/300 from factory. 80,988 miles from the odometer. $8,500 with no reserve. February 4, 2015. |
