06/15/2014 Engine and Transmission: The engine was overhauled back in 2001 by the previous owner. Over $3,000 was spent in parts and labor, have receipts of all work completed. Engine has tons of power and runs strong no smoking or knocking, the oil is clean. Has the following upgrades: Holley 4 barrel carb, Holley Chrome Air Cleaner with new filter, Chrome Edelbrock Valve Covers, Edelbrock aluminum intake. Vehicle is equipped with factory A/C. The compressor clutch works and the line is charged with freon but the compressor does not turn on when you turn on the A/C. The important thing is the line has freon and the fan blows. Also has a new master brake cylinder. Car is equipped with High Performance Dynomax dual exhaust. Body and Paint: The paint is a beautiful red and has lots of shine. The body of the vehicle is in great shape as can be seen from the pictures. Nothing is torn or missing from the fiberglass. No signs of accident. All lights are present and working. The Corvette logo on the rear bumper is missing, both doors and hood open and close just fine. The T-Tops come on and off with ease and lock in tight. All moldings are present and in good condition. Passenger side mirror lens is missing which can easily be replaced for a few bucks. Passenger side door handle sags a bit into door, but this does not affect functionality. Antenna is present but full extension of antenna is missing. Electrical: Headlights, tail lights, parking lights, reverse lights, brake lights and turn signals all work. Horn works but is very sensitive and easily goes off, metal race on steering wheel needs adjustment. I got tired of it going off accidentally so l disconnected it at the front of the vehicle. Can easily be reconnected with one plug. Both electric windows motors work when moving switch up and down but windows do not go down, could be something loose not sure but important thing is motors work. Wipers work. RPM gauge moves up and down but not accurate all other gauges work. Radio is a hideaway old school chameleon, which means the face plate hides when you turn off the car. Radio works just fine. Brakes and suspension: Brakes good, steering wheel has very little play. Tires have decent amount of tread, BF Goodrich size 255.60.15 all around with Rally Rims all around with all accessories present. Frame and under carriage: All of the bolts, bushings, connections and ties seem to be in good shape. The exhaust sounds good with the dual exhaust. Glass: All of the glass is present. The rubber seals seem to be in good shape. The windshield does not have any cracks nor does any of the other glass on the car. All of the glass is present. Interior: The interior is in good shape. Both seats are good no tears or stains. All carpets and door panels also in good shape. Nice black and red combo. The dashboard is in excellent condition no cracks. All panels and internal interior parts are present. Driver side door lock knob came off but does not affect functionality. Driving and Handling: When you enter the car, it feels good. The door shuts with ease. You slide the key right in, give the accelerator two stomps and the car starts right up. Once the engine is warmed up you slide the shifter with ease into drive and put the pedal to the metal. Drive, and reverse all go into play with no issue as well as the other gears. The car handles very well for its age.
