|Here is your opportunity to own one of the most exciting cars made, the 1973
Corvette L-48 roadster. This car presents very nicely, it has had a body on
restoration, and being a California car has no rust issues! Where ever this car
goes it is the center of attention, and being a baby boomer, well lets just say it
makes you feel a lot younger as you go through the gears, its a real blast to
drive. It was my desire to keep this car for the long haul, but an adoption has
changed my priorities.
Bolt on performance upgrades:
The car has 6,000 miles on a rebuilt motor($3500+)
Weiland intake manifold
Edelbrock aluminum valve covers
Chrome air filter, distributor cover etc. headers,
Motor has been painted when rebuilt and engine compartment detailed
Side pipes, with ceramic covers, a spendy extra that looks great and sounds even better
The interior of this car is in excellent condition
It has new carpet front and back
New seat covers, an after market arm rest
The dash is in excellent condition and the door panels are in great shape
The door panels are real nice looking but they have a couple of small places on them
All gauges work good, except the clock which can be replaced if needed
Turn signals, headlights, interior floor lights all work great
The paint was redone in the original paint code( mille miglia red)
The paint looks great. Its not perfect, as it has a couple of places in the clear
coat. I was told they would buff out. They are real small, but I don't know.
A new top was put on it
Door jambs look good
Chrome license plate
Front Corvette plate
Also comes with original hard top in good shape but would need painting--worth aprox. $2,000
When purchasing a classic car, the history is a very important acquisition, and with
this classic you receive a great deal of it! Comes with original sales contract,
motor rebuild receipt, the other sales contract, original owners manual plus the
paper work that was in car along with the the Corvette document manual.
I also have a framed paper that is original to the car. While I'm not entirely sure
what it is, I believe it could be the tank sticker. It did have a new tank installed! I
also have all the names of the owners, whom I have spoken to.
There are all kinds of receipts and papers all placed in a photo album, and a frame.
This 1973 CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE IS A # MATCHING CAR WITH A FRESH 350,
MUNSEY 4 SPEED THAT WILL ONLY GO UP IN VALUE OVER THE YEARS. This car is
over 30 years old. Its not a perfect show car, but it is a very nice looking car, a
blast to drive, and one of less than 5,000 convertibles made in '73!
The car is being sold where is, as is with no warranty, buyer is responsible for
transportation of this vehicle and all related charges.
P.S. The car comes with the original motor parts and also when I used the word
(new), it means the previous owner did it, a few years ago. Also, the car has
always been garaged.
