Car history:
Seven Hills Motorcars is very proud to offer this very low mileage and completely
numbers matching 1980 Corvette in absolutely stunning condition. It has only
traveled 50,552 original miles since new. This is definitely one of the nicest 1980
Corvettes on the market right now. The car looks and drives awesome and everything
works; even the a/c blows cold. It needs nothing that I know of and is ready to
be enjoyed. The Red over Doeskin is by far one of the most desirable color
combinations for any Corvette of any year; this car turns heads everywhere it goes.
It is also the original color scheme as indicated by the trim tag pictured below.
This Corvette is an exceptional driver and I wouldn't hesitate to hop in and take a
road trip. The low mileage is verified by not only the condition of the car, but also
the clear Ohio title, pictured below, stating the mileage as "actual."

Exterior
The Red exterior is in beautiful driver condition. As one can see in the photos the
finish has dazzling gloss and smooth finish. Often many Corvettes will have
particularly chipped up front ends, this car does not. The underside of the front end,
which is a very fragile and venerable area of the car, is in very good condition as
evidenced by the photos. There are no major scratches, scrapes, or other imperfections
that have been excluded from the photos. There may be some small blemishes
that were too small to show up in photos, but nothing that is really noticeable from
five or ten feet away. There are a couple small blemishes on each side of the rear
deck lid and photos of the specific areas below. The wheels are in great condition
with a brilliant finish and no curb rash. The tires are have about 80% tread left.
This Corvette has absolutely NO rust issues. The frame is totally solid with no rust
in front of the rear tire and I have seen no evidence of corrosion around the windshield.

Window Date Codes
Please note that all of glass on this car is date coded and original as each piece
predates the car's body build date of December 5, 1979 (C05). Original glass is a
good indication that this car has had no major accident history and never sustained
significant damage.

The Corvette looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.

Interior
The Doeskin interior of the Corvette is in utterly amazing original condition. The
interior is also extremely rare. We have owned a few dozen 1980 Corvettes over
the years and this is the only one to have this style factory interior with the cloth
inserts on the seats and door panels. The seats look great with no excessive wear.
Please note that these appear to be the original seats, not some cheap after market
replacement. The carpet is in nice original condition with no stains. This includes
the rear carpet with is often neglected. There is one rip in the carpet in the footwell
on the passenger's side. As one can see in the photos is it hardly noticeable at all
and mostly covered by the floor mat anyway. The console and dash are in great
condition with not splits or sun damage. The door panels are in great shape and
unlike many Corvettes of this age, they fit well and tight to the door. The original
t-top storage bags are included with the car and pictured below. This car has not
been smoked in; there is no aroma whatsoever. Please note that the pedal pads
show appropriate wear for a car of this mileage. Corvette interiors are not known
to wear well and the excellent condition of this original interior is a testament to
the meticulous care this car has received throughout its life.

The interior looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.

Mechanical
This Corvette seems to be in fine mechanical condition and everything on the car
works. It is an exceptional driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds.
This Corvette is ready to be used and enjoyed. There is no smoke when starting
or driving the car. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs well, but as
with many older carbureted cars it is a bit cold-blooded. The transmission shifts
well throughout the power band. The brakes do not pull to one side or the other.
This Corvette has plenty of power and is quite fast. The catalytic converter has
been removed. Also, the engine compartment is beautifully clean and detailed as
one can see in the photos. The horn works as do all the interior and exterior lights,
all gauges (with the obvious exception of the clock), wipers, blower for the heater
and a/c, and power windows. Even the power locks work as well as cruise control,
and the a/c blows cold, which are all very common issues on this era Corvette.
Please note very detailed items that most buyers do not even know to look for are
functional on this Corvette such as the interior delay light timer and the small light
by the spare tire still work. The vacuum system for the headlights works correctly
from both the switch on the dash and the override switch. Not enough can be said
as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this car, especially with the t-tops out on
a beautiful day.

Overall Condition
Overall, this 1980 Corvette is in marvelous condition. Numbers matching is extremely
important in Corvette pricing, especially with more rare, collectible, and low mileage
cars such as this. The originality, the rare and desirable color combination, and
the great extent to which the numbers match make this car especially important
and hard to duplicate. This Corvette always gets a ton of attention driving down
the road. It is apparent that the vehicle has been well taken care of by its previous
owners. The prices of C3 Corvettes have increased drastically over the past several
years. They are secure and wise investments for a collector. One could easily
enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for more than the purchase price
with minimal effort.
