1974 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible 350 / 4-speed
Rare find... car has been in storage since 1984... 52,000 original miles.
Very desirable original color combination of Mille Miglia Red with black interior.
Car is completely original and unmolested except for: one repaint (original color)
done back in the early 80's, a radio swap, and aftermarket mirrors. (Original radio
and new correct mirrors included.) Original numbers matching drivetrain. Engine
runs amazingly strong with no smoke or errant noises. Clutch is nice. Smog pump
is gone. Manual brakes with power steering.

Frame is solid with rust scaling that you would expect to see from a car that has
been sitting in a garage for 27 years. "Bird cage" is solid.

Body retains all it's original panels and bonding strips. Only repairs I found were:
one small spot over the right front wheel well, and possibly a small repair down by
the left front bumper.

Car still retains it's original GM urethane bumpers which, of course, are cracking
as they all did.

Car was stored with it's top down for some reason, so the fabric is now too tight to
latch both the front and back at the same time.-Needed replacing anyway -as they all do.

For safety's sake I replaced the master cylinder and one leaking caliper, then bled
the whole system.

If you have been searching for an original '74 Corvette "Survivor" 4-speed convertible
in a very cool factory color combination, then consider this rare find. ... and no
unsightly luggage rack on the back, and no troublesome (and expensive to repair)
air conditioning taking up half the engine compartment and adding another 250lbs
to the front end.

This Corvette needs a complete restoration, but it's all there and mostly untouched.
