This car is extremely nice and stunning to look at. It is a great example of a
classic daily driver with the fuel injection system it makes it a fun drive without
the nightmare carb problems like the factory quadrajet tended to have. This car
fires up perfectly every single time. I drive this car whenever it is great weather
outside but, in full disclosure I have listed below even the smallest items that
would make this car absolutely perfect just for the sake of full transparency.
-The fiber optic lighting system inside the cockpit needs to be replaced. These
are the little lights that light up when you press the brake pedal, etc. Half of
them light up but, I never cared about it so I never bothered replacing it.
-Probably needs an alignment since new suspension was installed.
-Although new brake lines all around and new front brakes (calipers and pads)
the rears need to be done soon too.
-after driving a bit I get a few drops of tranny fluid overnight. It only happens
after driving a while and not when it's just been sitting. I've been told by
numerous classic vette owners that if it ain't leaking something after driving it
then it's out of fluid but, I thought I would still mention it.
-Stop bolt for the drivers headlight needs to be adjusted. Lights lift/close perfectly
but the closed state on the drivers side needs to be adjusted to make it perfectly
flush. It's an easy fix but, getting to the stop bolt is time consuming.
-I believe she could use new tranny mount. Not 100 percent sure. I get a little
bit of vibration in the rear end after it's been driven for a while. It goes away
when I put the transmission in neutral which makes me think that.
