Car history: |
05/07/2014 I have owned this car for over 10 years but I need to sell since I'm getting married soon. This car is a blast to drive and would make a great project or fun cruiser, needs little work mechanically to make it 100 percent and the paint has seen better days (clear coat peeling and chipping). Some parts have been changed but included are any original parts I have removed. The car has an Edelbrock EPS performer intake and 650 CFM carb installed but the original L-82 aluminum intake and matching quadrajet are included. I also have the original L-82 dual snorkel air cleaner. Transmission was replaced but I have the original number matching transmission in parts and housing included. The front bezel is a replacement that was cut to accommodate Alpine stereo but the original unmolested one is included! The tachometer will need a new circuit board (est. $50 and 15 min fix) but all other gauges work. Headlights come up and go down but the driver one stops around 75 percent and needs a little help to come up 100 percent. Acrylic smoke tops are included but not original. I have replaced the alternator and wiper motor, I do not see any date stamps but will also include the parts I took out. This is an A/C car and was converted to 134a but I removed the belt and never used it. The pulley does still spin and is not seized. Heat riser on the passenger side exhaust has a small leak but has been that way for years and not very noticeable when warmed up. The interior is complete but showing its age, passenger seat is decent and the driver seat had a small repair and shows more signs of stress. Speaker box is a custom made box that wedges over the wheel wheels and houses 2 Boston Acoustics 6 inch x 9 inch, and an 8 inch subwoofer. I have a small but powerful Audio Art 240.4 AMP mounted in the middle tray between the battery and storage compartment (original jack). Battery is brand new from Walmart (receipt included for warranty). Antenna snapped this year so it is stuck up about 4 inches not a huge deal to fix/replace. I do not listen to the radio since it has an alpine CD/MP3 player. The Car says 68,000 miles but I believe it is 168,000, Owner before me had the engine rebuilt and besides the front seal I replaced it never needed anything and does not leak. |
