|We have a 1971 corvette convertable project car. My cousin has messed with corvettes all his life and done a lot of work on this car. Let me start with every thing on the frame is new. It has been sand blasted, all new bushings, stainless steel calipers, shocks, front and rear springs, new emergency brakes, rebuilt swing arms, rebuilt rear end, new u-joints in drive shafts, new power steering assembly, ball joints and tie rod ends, motor mounts, transmission mounts, new gas tank. The engine is a 1972 model LT1 350 #VO276KY 12S520569. Every thing on the engine looks good all brackets looks to be there. It has been rebuilt with a hyd.cam instead of a solid lift it still has the gm intake#39594 and holly carb. The transmission is a 400 turbo which has been rebuilt also. This car will start and is moveable but not road worthy. Also with this car is a rebuilt set of headlight assy, side panels, top frame(no top), rear bumpers, tilt tele steering column. This car has had a new radiator installed, new radiator support, new inner fenders, new gm upper surround, 1 new fender. This car still needs work on back hull stripped to glass and still needs some repair(see pictures). It has nice doors and rear hatch. This is a good project car worth a lot of money when finished. 79,000 miles. Colors from the owner. January 12, 2009.
