Beautifully restored 1968 427 390 hp Corvette. Owned it for the last 12 years and has completed a very meticulous and thorough frame on restoration. This is a matching number car. The transmission has been upgraded to a heavy duty Richmond 5 speed. This upgrade gave the car which has 3.08 rear end a much better low end and a better top speed. A big improvement to the driveability of the car. The original 4 speed transmission is there. Below is a list of additional features for this car. Please also note the detail of the restoration in the pictures. Only 2500 miles since complete engine rebuild. Power brakes. Original radio included. Headrests and shoulder harness for safety. Always garaged. New heavy duty Richmond 5 speed transmission. Rear end rebuilt 5000 miles ago. Rear end axles magnafluxed during rebuild process. New tires. New brakes, shocks. New Chrome all around. All new nuts, bolts, hardware. New interior panels including new leather seats. Rebuilt steering box. The only defects to the car are a small crack on the left front wheel well, and a hairline split in the clear coat on the hood. These defects are not readily visable and were difficult to even show in photos. There is also a small wear spot on the drivers side carpet. It is a beautiful and strong running car. 95,600 miles.
