CONDITION: This car has been stored for the last 17 years. It has however, been started and driven on a regular basis (every couple months or so). While it does run and drive, you will need to have it shipped for safety reasons. The engine sounds really good and the transmission shifts as it should. The frame is rock solid without any issues whatsoever. While this is a very rare and solid car, it will need to be restored if you are looking for a "show quality" classic. If not, you can fix it up and drive it without investing a whole lot of money. Either way, I'm sure you will be very proud to own her! The tires have been replaced within the last several years and are road worthy with plenty of tread. The entire exhaust system has been replaced within the last several years. Both front & back bumper covers need to be replaced as they have deteriorated after sitting for so many years. We do not know the integrity of the brake lines, cables, hoses and other parts that may have deteriorated over the years. We got the lights to go up and down by by-passing the system. Probably a bad switch. All lights, including head lights, brake lights, back-up lights, turn signals, etc., work just fine.
Both turn signals in front need bulbs and one bright light is burned out. Horn, speedometer, odometer, all work as they should. Center gauge panel for dash is missing and not included with car. I will look around for it and if I find it, it will be included. No promises, however. The interior carpet is mediocre at best. The convertible top is missing and it has its normal cracks in the drivers side door panel. The dash board is exceptional as are the seats. The dash has been taken apart so that a new heater core could be installed. They replaced it, however not the dash. The glass is perfect. The windshield appears to be crack free as well as the side windows. The hard top is in excellent condition and the glass is very good as well. It could use a paint job, however when cleaned up it would probably be acceptable as a "driver". The spare tire well is intact and the spare tire is included. The engine pad is very visible and clearly reflects the correct VIN number. The transmission has never been out of the car and is original. Air conditioning unit is still in the car, however we were not able to turn it on because that part of the dash is the part that is missing. The windows and locks are manual and the windows roll up and down easily. The windshield wipers and washers work as they should. A cursory inspections of the ball joints, tie-rod ends, steering, and suspension turned up ok. The title is clear and ready to be transferred to the new owner. A color copy of the Canadian title will be included with the car. I welcome your comments or questions and promise to include them so as to better inform any lookers. If there is anything you think I may have left out, please e-mail me and I will include it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I understand how nerve racking buying anything of value over the internet can be. While I try my best to be as accurate as I can, pictures sometimes make things look better than they really are. So therefore, if you are not completely satisfied with anything I listed, you are under no obligation to go through with the final purchase. In this event, I would gladly refund any payment made (minus deposit & shipping). Thanks, Kellie Jo. 419-340-8278
