1973 Corvette Coupe Elkhart Green Exterior, (code 947), Medium Saddle Tan Interior, Trim 415. 350 Automatic Transmission Standard 350 Engine Air Conditioning AM/FM Radio This is a 2 owner Corvette that has been very well taken care of and is low milege. The condition is true collector or investment quality. It has never been damaged, but has been painted once over original Elkhart Green. The second owner did much to improve the mechanical condition. In 2010, all new front & rear suspension components were replaced with new. This includes universal joints, the rear spring, and shocks. Stainless steel slieved brake calipers, exhaust system, stainless tips and rear wheel bearings were also replaced. An emergency brake kit and cables were replaced. A new gas tank was installed. Also replaced was: radiator, AC compressor, evaporator, heater core and all new belts, hoses and AC lines. All AC ducts were cleaned and wrapped to insure maximum AC operation. On the top side of the car: the rear bumper was chromed, new tail light lenses were replaced and a stainless steel luggage rack was installed. The car has new L&R mirrors and a new tag bezel. The rear Corvette letters are new. The front bumper was repaced some years ago with a True Flex replacement bumper. The original urethane bumper was rotten. Also the front air dame was replaced. There are no chips on the original Astro Ventilation glass. It has the original LOF windshield that is nice. The rally wheels were removed, sandblasted, refinished and new trim rings were installed. The tires are new P245-60R15, B.F. Goodrich radial TAs. In the interior of the Corvette: The headliner and dash are original and they are in mint condition. Even the seat belt retractors work properly. This is very unusual for this year model Corvette. Also, the dash is original and looks like new with no cracking, the guages were restored and the miles were zeroed, the original radio was professionally restored and the rear window glass was resealed. The door hinge springs, the driver door latch assembly and antenna are new. The original jack is still in jack well and looks new. This is a southern car with a solid frame with no rust. Also, there is no rust in the windshield post where there are usually rust issues. The overall paint condition is nice with no chips or scratches. It does however, have some age showing checking on the rear of the car. Mechanically, all work was performed by a professional Corvette facility. The doors open and shut like new. It is a very solid original car. Even the original burglar alarm is in working order. We have all records & receipts of the work done on this vehicle.
