This car was purchased 3 years ago. The previous owner purchased the car from a salvage yard, damage in the rear. It was taken down to the frame (no frame damage), and rebuilt. All new bushings, mounts, etc. has been replaced. I then purchased the car updating the following. New 406sbc 450-500hp, Scat 9000 crank, H-beam rods, Forged KB dish pistons, Lunati Cam, Trickflow heads, Rpm Airgap intake, Bigs Performance 750 Carb, Stewart Water pump, DT Headers/dual exhaust with h-pipe, Dual Derale electric fans, McLeod Twin disc clutch, MSD Digital 6 box/distributor, Keisler 5 speed transmission. Motor and transmission have approx. 10,000 miles. A couple fenders have small stress cracks as usual for the older fiberglass vettes. The only mechanical part that works but is not being used is the wipers. Do to the mounting of the gauges in the cowl area, the offset arm of the wipers will interfer. I have got caught in the rain, using rain-x, no problem. For the interior / New tilt & tele colum last year, Sparco Buckets last year, and New tires. Front carpet, Radio/CD player has also been replaced. Bearings, brakes etc. have all been serviced. Factory equipped map light on rear veiw mirror that works! Heater controls do work, no air. Full inside of car has been sound proofed and insulated. All new glass windows have been replaced. The paint is Millenium yellow, front and rear spoliers, American Racings wheels, new Raincoat. The compression ratio of motor is pump gas safe, 9:8 to 1. Engine was built by a proffesional, installed by me. I am very particular with my cars etc. The best only has been put into this. The car has placed in many car shows even though it is modified. It is a head turner and is also fast. Has been well taken care of, Zaino products have been used to create the best shine. I am wanting to purchase a C5 Z06 and need to sell this first. I have had alot of fun with this car at shows, parades and fund raisers. It is a turn-key and go... I do have a clean title for this car. After the rebuild it was inspected and cleared in Ohio where I purchased it. I have the 1975 Repair manual, and alot of the documentation (receipts etc), to go with this car. |
