Car history: |
This is a 1969 corvette convertible this is NOT a numbers matching car I have owned this car since April 2006 the previous owner had the engine rebuilt I check the numbers on the block and came up with a K0912CNR which is a 1970 350 C.I. 300 horse it runs and sounds good it has a Weiand Stealth intake and Holley carburetor it has the double hump heads on it along with a set of headers. I have had the transmission rebuilt along with a new clutch installed and new 2nd gear. The transmission is the P9 M21 It has a Hurst shifter. I have had the gas tank replaced. I have had the Sharkbar series 3r roll bar (chrome) and Crow enterprizes five point harness seat belts installed. This corvette is not that fast but is sure feels good that you wont fly out of it! This is a fun driver. In the photos you will see that the convertible top has a small rip in it. The rear bumpers one has a hole and the other is starting to get that way. The vinyl seats are torn so I covered them with the corvette seat covers the interior needs attention. The paint is riverside gold and it has been repainted before. The interior is black vinyl. This is a non power car. I had this car inspected then put away I just got it out to sell. It started up and runs good. This corvette will make someone a fun driver convertible that they can tinker around with. GM only produced 16,633 convertibles and only 12,846 with the 350/350Hp engine out of 38,762 total production in 1969. The car has the spare tire and cover. i did weld covers over two holes under the radiator it was faster to fix it then ordering new front cross member. there is nothing else wrong with the frame it is fine.
