Car history: |
Even prior to its restoration and up-grades it was always well-cared-for. Always stored inside. Never wrecked. Never abused. This Stingray is beautiful gloss burgundy with a black and burgundy leather interior. It has 6-way power seats (from a 1986 Corvette), an AM-FM-CD Sound System, a high quality black canvas cloth convertible top and a gorgeous Fiberglass Hardtop (not pictured). Excellent paint, chrome and stainless. The body is nice and straight and doors shut beautifully. A fully updated car built for driving, this Stingray also features a 400 with 4-bolt mains and 400HP, Howell Throttle Body Injection Management on an aluminum intake, HEI Ignition, a Richmond 6-Speed Transmission w/ a balanced driveshaft and a .370 Rear End, special flow-through headers, stainless steel mufflers, 4-Wheel Corvette Disc Brakes, PS, Tilt, Goodyear Eagles on 16" rims, front and rear adjustable racing swaybars and Bilstein Shocks and even a discretely added modern lineal brake light (look closely - it's just below the rear spoiler lip) for safety in modern traffic. This Stingray is fun to drive with its Richmond 6-Speed manual transmission. It's a very dependable car and ready to drive anywhere. It's one of those rare, useful blue-chip investments that your entire family can enjoy. Its powerful V-8 runs strong, holds excellent oil pressure and runs nice and cool. It shifts smoothly and tracks nicely on its Goodyear Eagles tires. Probably a 350/350 from the tachometer. Colors from the owner. 25,067 miles from the odometer. December 29, 2009. |
