Car history: |
1) Documented (original tank sticker) Roadster that was originally equipped with the following options: --427 Big Block 435 Horsepower Tri-Power Engine (code L71) --Close Ratio Muncie 4-Speed Transmission (code M21) --HD 3:70 Posi Rearend (code G81) --Transistorized Ignition (code K66) --Safari Yellow Paint (code 984) --Standard Black Interior (code STD TRM) --AM/FM Radio (code U69 --Tinted Glass (code A01) --Special Off Road Exhaust (code N11) --Turbine Wheel Covers (P01) --Standard Black Convertible Top --F70X15 White Stripe Tires (code PT6) Tank Sticker was removed a few months ago by me from the original gas tank. Has Clean and Open KS Title. Has original glass, very early 68 Production car. Ordered in Sep of 67. Born on date is C18 (Oct 18, 1967). #2277 of C3's built (first year 1968). Car has a NOM recently rebuilt 402 with new Holley Carb, original 4-Speed Muncie and original HD rebuilt Posi Rearend, runs and drives great. Very strong engine. It has a custom hand built front end that was popular in the 70's with lights glassed in, grille and front bumper removed and fixed headlights. Frame very solid, light surface rust only. Still retains original gas tank. This is a GREAT project for someone who wants to put a RARE car back together. With all the documented options and being a Convertible, this car will be HIGHLY sought after when restored correctly. I will include an original 68 Front Clip and a set of original 68 Headlight Assemblies. In addition, I have an original L71 Block that is dated for this car, heads and other engine components that I will work with the buyer to put together a package (not included with advertised price). No bid at starting $19,995 on December 26, 2017. |
