|This is a 427 (390) hp.4spd transmission convertible this is a complete car i drove and parked 2years ago and started to restore i am married with children and no time. The frame is powder coated 2 years ago and everything is new. New ft. And rear springs, rear trailing arm . Ft & rear brake pads , rotors, and calipers, upper and lower ball joints ,control arm bushings, inner , outer tie rods and sleeves stainless steel brake line ,also fuel line, all new u-joints and wheel bearings. I also have the new vacuum line kit ,interior screw kit, new gas tank straps and the rubbers and parts for the top of the fuel tank. The body is apart and off frame, all parts removed and put in zip lock bags and labeled as to where they go. The body has been walnut shelled, all glass is in good shape, the interior is still in the car. The body is on a jig built to road height spec and is rigged so the body will not flex or crack in moving, (i took the body to be walnut shelled on this jig it worked well). The hood is an l88 style, the convertible top i believed to be replaced it is white and in excellent condition, i also have a hard top for the car but this is not the original it is copper colored and the car was blue but it is excellent shape also, the chrome is in good shape not all dented up or rusted and is all there. When i took the car apart i found the spare tire was a bias ply and in good shape it goes to, i have the original fuel tank it is in fair shape it does not leak but needs the outside cleaned up, i also have a gas tank tag it is kind of hard to read but there. The motor is a 1968 block but not a numbers match but year correct it is at the machine shop but no work has been started yet it is apart the block crank, pistons, new flywheel and pressure plate, i was going to have engine balance, i am not sure of the year on the cylinder heads but i will find out. I do not have a correct intake, i have one with and erg valve on so it is a newer one and the dist. Is not correct there is no tach drive. The transmission is a 4 spd. And the brass and gears inside is in good shape according to a local trans. Shop i had inspect it. The rear end is a 4:11 and i installed new pinion and carrier bearings. This is a manual brake, manual trans, manual steering car with no a/c. Colors from the owner. April 15, 2008.
