ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A TIME YOU WILL NEVER FORGET? START LIVING LIFE WITH THIS TRIPLE BLACK 1969 TWO TOP NUMBERS MATCHING CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE FOUR SPEED. EXTERIOR: The body is straight and the paint is in fair to above average condition. The headlights and the hood line up beautifully with the body and the car looks to us to have never been in an accident. A four speed car with a no hit front end is hard to come by. The frame is straight and solid, the keyholes forward of the rear wheels look good. The weather-strip is in fair condition and looks presentable. The headlights are functional (one of the bulbs is out) and the wipers will need to be looked at however the system remains intact. The tires appear to have a good amount of meat on them and the original style rally wheels look awesome. The chrome is in good shape, not like new but too good to mess with. The spare tire carrier looks good and has not had a jack put underneath it like so many of them have. The original Astro-Ventilation glass is in place and looks great for its age. Please note as pictured below the original tank sticker is included with the car. This triple black 1969 is perhaps the quintessential Stingray. INTERIOR: The interior is beautiful showing no conspicuous blemishes and appearing mostly original. The seats and the door panels look great but the carpet will need to be replaced for optimum appearance. The dash looks great too and the original seat belts remain functional and present. The stereo was installed with no modification of the gauge bezel/dash. All of the gauges work except for the clock and the gas gauge and the faces are beautiful. Both the speedo and the tach are hooked up and working. The rear compartment doors while still functional no longer work like new and have the original stickers on the underside of their doors. The original positive lockout reverse shifter remains in place too as original. Just like original the driver still has to put the shifter in reverse to get the key out (rotating interlock is still connected.) The fan still works but the heater core is bypassed. The interior is solid. MECHANICS: The motor compartment looks very original and even retains its original ignition shielding. She also still possesses its NUMBERS MATCHING 350 cubic inch motor. (19S715727 & VO203HY) The transmission shifts well. The exhaust looks like it is a few years old and the bushings dont look to be coming apart. The brakes have been redone with STAINLESS STEEL SLEEVED CALIPERS in the front and the rear brakes are functional but may need to be redone in the near future. The car has a new gas tank and fuel sending unit and a new fuel pump. Overall this car runs, drives and handles well for her age and I had a blast driving it around with the top down.
