Car history:
1975 Corvette Stingray
Restore the luster on this legendary American car, and youll be sharing your
memories and enthusiasm at your local classic and muscle car show!

Removable T-tops (see photo).
Fiberglass body is in great condition. The frame is straight and true. All lights and
blinkers/flashers work; yes the pneumatic pop-up headlights operate just fine,
both up and down.

The undercoating is from back in the day; and the chassis has only surface rust,
but only minimal because the vette was stationed most of its career in California.

The original 350 V8 has been slightly modified with a four-barrel Edelbrock 650cfm
carburetor, dual plane intake, mild cam, headers, and Flowmaster dual exhaust
with cross-over pipe and chrome tips. Engine runs great and the exhaust sounds awesome!

Newer starter, alternator, brake pads, calipers, suspension bushings, shocks, tie
rods ends, and ball joints. TH400 automatic transmission runs out great and shifts
firmly due to previously installed shift kit. All tuned too.

It has a fully operational AM/FM cassette radio, but never had an A/C.
The heat works great, though!

Interior is black leather with black carpet and cleans up nicely. There are zero
cracks on the dash, two minor tears in driver's seat but passenger seat looks
practically new.

Original Corvette aluminum slotted rims with the vintage tri-wing center caps.
Good tread on all tires with spare.

KNOWN DISCREPANCIES WITH THE CAR:
All of the discrepancies are very easily repairable with the exception of the paint.
Winshield washer tubing needs replaced but wipers work just fine.
Left rear tire has a very slow leak; but I think its the rim that is actually causing
the leak. Loses 10psi/month
Car looks awesome from 20 feet away, but on close examination, you can see it
could use a paint job. See photos for some various blemishes.
The transmission pan gasket leaks a little fluid and needs to be replaced.
The power steering rack leaks a little fluid but only about 4 drips/week.
The left front pop-up light has a broken micro-switch that causes a red light on the
dash to say check headlight even though the light is up.
Power antenna installed and wires run, but not hooked up to radio to power to go
up/down; works though for reception.
Clock does not work and the ammeter seems to be stuck at 40Amps, and I cant
figure out why, expect that its stuck.
Cant reset the trip meter, but odometer works just fine.
The headlight trim pieces are off on both sides (see photo), but I do have them. I
cant recall why I took those off, but it had something to do with replacing the
front bumper cover about five years ago.
Front and rear bumper covers are not perfectly matched in color to the main
body; hard to match new yellow paint with old paint. You only notice in certain
lighting conditions.
Power windows work but move slowly up at times (they need greased).
Passenger door hinge pins are getting worn out; driver's side replaced. I have a
set of pins for passenger door.

That being said, this car has been a daily driver and is mechanically sound for a
road trip because its never let me down in over seven years of ownership. I
have done my best to describe the vehicle for you. The reason for selling is that I
do not have the time or the garage space to do justice to this classic American icon.

I will deliver the car to you within a 200 mile radius of Washington, DC; outside
that you need to arrange shipping.
