1968 Corvette Convertible -- Big Block 427 / 390 Horse Power -- All Numbers Matching Car--All Stock All Original. This is a well documented Corvette that came from the factory with this engine, rear end, drivetrain, intake, Quadra Jet factory carbarator, and the numbers show it. This corvette came from the factory in red with black interior as shown here with a 4 speed. Recent rebuild of this motor done. Car has new factory style soft top, new carpet, new factory floor mats, new brake handle, new seat backs, new vent eyelets. Original seats are in nice condition. Engine compartment nicely detailed. Factory am-fm radio that works. Hurst shifter. Original Rally Wheels look perfect. Tires near new. New factory style ignition and spark plug cables. new owners manuel. Very clean and straight driving car. Shows very nice, paint is in nice condition with a few chips. Body is straight and tight. Engine runs strong and just tunned. This is a very RARE 1968 corvette big block. I just installed brand new factory style Black seat covers that I bought from Corvette America. Seat covers installed were around $ 700. I did this because I noticed a small tear in the drivers bottom original seat cover. Now you have new ones. New factory antenna installed, new battery, and new decals. Also I thought I would list the flaws on the car so there are no surprises, the clock does not work could be a loose wire, it was working now it's not. Also wipers are not working, vacume leak I think? The front fender has a small paint pressure spider web crack line in the paint, very thin crack lines about a inch and a half in size in a total circle. This is the only spot on the paint that has this. There is a chip about a half a inch in size near the top of the drivers door handle where the convertible soft top was rubbing on the paint, right side latch for convertible top missing, new latch $60. These are the big flaws on the car. This is a very nice, very original, and very clean, real big block 427 corvette. Also the chrome on the bumpers, side mirror, handles are like new, no pitting. Just installed new factory door sills. Note: the photos above of the seats are photos of the original seat covers, now it has new ones. Factory steering wheel like new, and the horn works. Headlights, turn signals, vent fan, all work. Car also still has the original factory sticker in the bottom of the windshield that reads; Special Equipment Cheverolet. This is for the 427 under the hood. Rare sticker to still find on a corvette You can see this original sticker in the photo of the windshield. Note: Vehicle was sold to owner I purchased it from and then to myself as a actual miles car. I dont have reciepts from the first original owner, so I can not guarantee that the miles are correct. Only that it has been sold to me as an actual miles car and the prior owner as well. Also car has new Corvette emblems, and seat backs. Sold for 23,800. 48,524 miles from the odometer.
