I'm planning the body-off restore of this car not in the short term. First I'll finish the '59 and do the 63 car... á é è |

Car history: |
Bought the car via e-Bay from someone in Arizona. The car was originally bought in Montana. I have been able to track all the previous owners except the first one. I still have to drop the tank to get to the tank sticker (if still in place). This should enable me to find the original dealer to dig deeper in the car's history.
I have all the maintenance bills since 1970. Car is very original, still has its original engine and all main components. Added the power steering myself. Tilt-telescopic steering column and fender louver trim was added by a previous owner. Starter and front window are not original. Carb. was replaced by correct type, but wrongly dated one by previous owner as well. I'm still considering power brakes for safety...
The car was NCRS Top Flighted (one of the two first cars Top Flighted at the continent of Europe!) at Le Mans without doing any restoration except on the rear spring (partly due to the huge amount of driving miles). |
