Are you in the market for a chrome bumper C3 Corvette, but are having a tough
time deciding whether you want a show stopper or a driver? Why not settle for
both? Your search might be over with this beautiful War Bonnet Yellow 1971
Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. While it isn't restored to perfection, this is a mechanically
sound driver's car that is sure to turn heads any where you go. She's a turn key
cruiser that won't complain when you hit the open road!

Under the hood is a 350 V8; the classic choice for anything Chevrolet muscle.
Having seen proper maintenance under its current owner, this car is truly ready
to hit the road. The idea behind this particular car was to have a Corvette that
not only looked good, but could be driven without worry. A modern A/C system
is a welcome addition for comfortable cruising. Outfitted with four-wheel power
disc brakes and a TH400 transmission, this Corvette is the perfect blend of factory
correct and functional upgrades!

But it didn't stop in just the engine bay, glance at the underneath pictures and
you'll find an equally well-maintained undercarriage. While it is showing some
age, as this is an older restoration, everything is accessible and appears to be
in serviceable condition. The glorious small block engine note is provided courtesy
of a dual exhaust system. This Corvette rumbles, but has a nice tone and isn't
droning or deafening at speed. Truly, this is a perfect cruising car!

The car was repainted in the factory War Bonnet Yellow color and it shows well.
You may spot a minor imperfection here or there, but that is the intended nature
of this car-you can park it worry free! The War Bonnet Yellow is not a common
color, and looks phenomenal on the body lines a Stingray has to offer. This is
both a breathtaking and unique color that is sure to stand out in a crowd-even
a crowd of Corvettes! Though it appears to be an older repaint, it still shows well
and looks slick.

Pop open the doors and you'll find an interior that sticks strictly to the original
theme. The carpet has been replaced recently, and the seats and door panels
are in excellent driver-quality condition. The overall fit and finish is great!
Similar to the exterior, you may find a small imperfection here or there, but
again this car was built for and used as a fun driver for any occasion. The only
noticeable change from factory original is the addition of a RetroSound radio
that provides modern conveniences with an original appearance.

If you are looking for a 100 percent original car that transports you back to the
dealership when it arrived new... this probably isn't the car for you. However, if
you are looking for a gorgeous little Vette that has been built to be a comfortable
any time you want driver, this may just check all the boxes! Don't let her looks
fool you; she was built to be driven!
