06/30/2014 A friend of mine built up a solid and nice car into this. Things he changed are as follows: GM ZZ4 crate engine w/tuned port injection, Hedman headers, Coan built 700R4 transmission w/adjustable lock-up converter, VBP crossleaf front suspension, Steeroids rack and pinion steering, Flex-A-Lite fans, Fikse forged wheels, speedometer by Roger, and new Torch red paint. After he completed the build he drove it about 14,000 miles before he passed away. I bought it from his widow, who has also passed, in June of 2012. It is beautiful and runs super quick (King of the Hill) at the Corvette homecoming one year. The A/C was converted to 134a and needs to be recharged. I have another Vette and at 75 years old I think one is probably enough. |
