1) Up for bids is this 1968 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster Convertible. I am selling it for a friend the only reason he is selling it is because he just doesn't drive it anymore! He has owned the car for almost 25 years and is the second owner. Clear title in hand. The Body on this corvette is in good driver condition, there are a few nicks and scratches in the paint but still shines nicely for what appears to be the original white paint!! The headlights pop up perfectly and all brake lights, turn signals reverse lights work as they should, don't need any more reasons to get pulled over! This is the Removable hardtop convertible, perfect for a cruise to the beach on a nice summer day. The blue interior also is original and does show signs of wear, as expected for its age. a rip on the driver seat and the rear carpet is coming unglued a little bit but could easily be fixed by an upholstery shop! This is an AC car how ever the belt was not back on after the motor was rebuilt, and have not looked into it could be as simple as charging the system! All the gauges and dash lights work perfectly. A 383 Stroker motor was built with aluminum heads, intake and edelbrock 750 carb, this thing HAULS A$$! Incredibly fun to drive but still reliable, drive across the country in a heart beat! Transmission is a 350 that was built to handle the motor. the suspension is in great shape and goes down the road straight as an arrow, brakes and underside were serviced recently. Car is located in Santa Rosa, CA. $16,101 (RnM) on June 26, 2017. |
