1) A classic 1968 Corvette 427 convertible with matching number 4-speed transmission, block and heads. The car was born with a single 4 bbl. carb and it put out 390 hp, but somewhere along the line an owner added the correct tri-power intake and carbs. The car now puts out 400 hp. It is corvette bronze, the original color, but it has had one repaint I believe. It is a good paint job, and the car shines. The interior may be original, but I am not positive. The odometer shows just over 58,000 miles, and I suspect that is original, but I can not verify it. The interior shows very minor wear which would be consistent with a low milage car. The interior color is called tobacco, and there are no rips, tears or separations. I have no documentation for the car, and I have not hunted for a tank sticker. The car is in very good shape, rust free, and I would classify it as a very high quality driver. It runs strong, and really moves when you kick the tri-power in. Mustangs are its main source of iron. It does not have power steering. 58,500 miles. Colors from the owner. September 9, 2008. |
