Car history: |
2) Up for grabs is my numbers matching, un-restored 1968 Corvette L36 427/390hp big block 4-speed car. It is a great driver and as close to a time-capsule of a car as you can get with a driver. The car is dead reliable and drives as you would expect a car to of its vintage. I never dropped the gas tank or tore apart the interior to look for a build sheet, but would imagine it is still in the car. The car even retains it's chalk markings from the assembly line in October of 1967. The 49 year old paint is in admirable condition for it's age and looks great from a distance, but definitely shows it's age up close. The car appears to have had an undercoating installed from the dealership and is rust free from it's many years in Texas and southern California. The interior is in great shape, with what appears to be original carpet and accurately replaced seat covers at some point in its life. All gauges and fiber optic light indicators work with exception of the clock. The only non-working items on the car are windshield wiper motor, interior lamps( due to door jamb switches), and the clock. Kelsey Hayes wheels are of the incorrect year (1969), windshield is not original, one mis-matched tire on front driver side (not pictured) and smog pump missing. All vacuum operated accessories work as well. This is a non-PB, non a/c, no frills big block piece of classic muscle. This is your chance to own a beautiful classic big block corvette as it left the factory decades ago. Message me for questions or more details. Car has been unofficially inspected by more than one former NCRS judge that have agreed with my description of this car. $19,999 (RnM) on June 28, 2017. $20,700 (RnM) on July 6, 2017. 1) Are you looking for a real Survivor Corvette?. This 1968 Corvette coupe is almost 100 per cent as it left the factory 43 years ago. It comes equipped with its numbers matching 427/390HP motor and transmission. It has original Paint that is starting to show its age (hey it is 43 years old). All the interior is original except the previous owner recovered the seats with correct replacement covers (we have the original passenger seat and it is nice). Factory carpet is original and nice dash and instruments are exceptionally clean as is the steering wheel and rest of interior. The car is a virtual time capsule and runs and drives as a 56,000 mile car should. We recently took this unmolested Car in trade from a retired gentleman along with 2 other factory High Performance Chevy Big Blocks. If you want a real Big Block car that has not been taken apart and pieced back together then come by and see this low mileage 3 owner car and you won't be dissapointed. Jordan Motorcars SA 11919 I H 10 W in San Antonio Texas. 56,946 miles. $34,950. |
