| 06/18/2014 This 1978 Chevy Corvette Indy 500 Pace Car is all original. Even the 8- track player works! The paint does have a few problem areas as you will see in the pic's. It comes with the original black floor matts and one more set of matts. Also, 2 sets of mirrored T-tops in the original covers. All the lights work, A/C, windows, wipers, horn, radio, power antenna, telescoping steering and tilt wheel. The motors runs strong with no leaks or noises. The tires are fairly new. The seats have no rips, cracks or stains in the leather. The carpet is very clean and the door skins are in excellent condition as well. It even has the original spare tire. The car was last registered in 2009. The only issue that we found with this car is the brake light stays on and the fluid is full. We will be looking further into this problem. Overall, this barn find is in really good shape. We've waxed it and brought the paint back to a shine. All of the decals are good except the hood and the pin stripping around the car. They need to be replaced, as you can see in the pic's. It also needs the center caps for the wheels. Maybe the next owner might want to paint it or it may buff out. |
