This car's paint appears to be newer, and is in good to very good condition with a great shine. Glass t-tops and taillights are in very good condition with no cracks. Weatherstripping looks to be older, and is in good condition; exterior door handles appear to be recent, and are in good to very good condition. Slotted aluminum wheels are in very good condition with recent looking center caps in very good to excellent condition. BF Goodrich Radial T/A raised white letter tires are BRAND NEW, and showing full tread depth remaining at an average of 10/32nds. The interior of this 1980 Corvette shows recent real leather seat covers and steering wheel in very good to excellent condition. Carpet looks to be recent, and is in very good to excellent condition as well; door panels are in very good condition with strong armrests. Dash pad is in very good condition with no cracks, and GM seatbelts are present and in good condition. Center console shift plate looks to be recent, and is in very good condition. The numbers matching engine in this 1980 Corvette shows original casting date May 29, 1980, and final assembly date June 2, 1980. Stamp pad shows correct ZAM suffix for 4 speed manual transmission. Additions to this engine compartment include a 1981 style chrome air cleaner lid for the factory air cleaner, and finned aluminum valve covers. Correct intake manifold and ignition shielding are also in place, and the hood light is working as well. Frame is clean, solid, and rust-free. This car has been fully serviced, and all instrument gauges, lights, turn signals, brakes, engine, transmission and rear-end are all in good operating condition.
