2) 1969 L89 427/435 HP Triple Blk California Corvette Convertible. Factory options: L89 Aluminum Head 427/435 hp engine, M21 4 speed close ratio transmission, G81 Positraction 370 rear axle, F41 Special suspension, C07 Auxiliary top, A31 Power Windows, U69 AM-FM Radio, N40 Power Steering, A01 Tinted glass, K66 Transistor ignition, A82 Head restraints. This is an extremely well cared for Corvette. It has alot of original patina showing the originality of the car. Original paint(except hood). Lots of rock chips and checking due to the original laquer paint. One large scratch in the drivers door(see pic), etc.. Rust free California chassis and birdcage. Numbers matching 427 435 HP L89 restoration engine. I have included pad pics for your review. M21 transmission has matching VIN 3.70 posi rearend This car was special ordered by Tym Demello (deceased) from Gustafson Chevrolet in Eureka California. I have the NCRS shipper verifying Gustafson Chevrolet. I have full owner history on the car documented by Bill Gould of Auto Ancestory. He states that he also believes it is an original L89 car based on conversations with the original owner and previous owners. No tanksheet or POP, unfortunately. Trim Tag B24. ZQ4 trim 900 Paint. Pad Stamp is T0829LP. Intake is 3919852 aluminum square port intake. Carbs are correct. PN 4055 center carb dated 881. The end carbs are PN 3659 891 dated. Mint correct 842 aluminum 1968 dated heads. Block is PN 270 427 4 bolt block. TI 928 distributor dated 68. Deep groove pulleys. The wiper door doesn't work and the headlights have vacuum leak, but work. Rear wheel well inner lips have been trimmed for wider tires years ago. When is the last time you saw a real triple black L89 Corvette Convertible with California black plates? I re-listed the car due to the first buyer not completing the deal. The engine was professionally rebuilt with quality internals and built to factory L89 specifications. Original transmission was also rebuilt with new clutch installed. Less than 30 miles on both rebuilds. $60,825 (RnM) on August 21, 2017. 1) Ordered from Sacchi Chevrolet in Arcata. CA.
