Car history: |
Low mileage 1975 Corvette Convertible that includes a Hard Top. This is one of 3 that I have, one late model and one restored. I purchased this years ago to drive and maybe someday bring the car back to the original colors. This is the last year of the C3 Convertible and it has a Hard Top! The vehicle has the matching numbers from front to back and is a L-48 WITH Air Conditioning. The miles are ORIGINAL at 68,476 miles (REAL LOW for a 36 year old vehicle!) and has always been garaged! I drove this car for a short period of time and then put it away. I do not need to sell it but it just sits. This is a "10 footer" (it looks great from 10 feet away) and it is a head turner. The vehicle was originally Fame Orange with a Black Convertible top and interior but was repainted to Flame RED with tan leather interior, carpet and Convertible top. The interior leather and convertible top were purchased from Eckler's and done before I purchased the car. It has L-82 emblems on the hood BUT IT IS A L-48. This vehicle runs great. Stainless steel calipers were added on all four wheels and it has flow through exhaust. It has a very nice rumble. Again this vehicle runs up and down the road fine. It is at a mechanics garage that is owned by an ASE technician; therefore, it has been well maintained. How you see it is how I bought it. There is a hole on the top of the dash drivers side and some small blistering of the paint that can be spotted in or left alone. Drive it now and wait 10 years and it will bring doulbe in value. My 1968 has quadrupled in price since I bought it and this one may do the same. I am in my sixties and I do not want to wait 10 years but I will. No one has been in the engine.........it is original. No cams or performance parts have been added. I do not think I have the original radio but I will look. The only thing I added was the SS calipers because it needs to be driven or they lock up and I do not drive it. I have put a reasonable reserve on the vehicle (a lot less than I paid for it) so that someone could enjoy the car as a driver or do what ever they want to do with it now. I will let you buy the car BUT I will not let you steal it! I am not desparate and I do not need the money. The vehicle is locate outside Chapel Hill NC and I am a hour and 1/2 away, but the garage where it is stored is open 9 to 5 daily but not open on Saturdays or Sundays. Check out my ebay record and email me with any questions. Good luck bidding!!!! Price: US $18,500.00 |
