| Finished in classic and desired Mille Miglia Red (973) with black interior (400). The car has been garage kept in a smoke-free environment. The exterior is in good condition with a few minor blemishes. New tires, new front springs, new water pump and harmonic balancer. Chrome luggage rack. Headlights move up and down perfectly. The 4 speed manual transmission and clutch are in good condition. After-market steering wheel is currently on the vehicle, but I have, and will include the original steering wheel and a new horn button with the car (see photo); I just haven't had time to put the original back on. All gauges with the exception of the clock (original) are in great working order and all are properly lit. Seats are in great condition. Easily removable T-Top. No factory A/C, but does have original Astro Ventilation. Power brakes, power steering. 130K miles on original engine. Deluxe wheel covers. Minor problems include: stereo is not working, windshield wiper motor needs to be replaced, and wiper cover needs a new vacuum hose, very slow power steering fluid leak, slight valve tap (I'm almost 100% sure the valve stem just needs to be tightened), and the timing is a bit off. To the best of my knowledge I am only the 3rd owner of the 37 year old classic. October 9, 2008. |
