Car history:
2) 14,004 miles from the odometer. Bold color, a ton of upgrades, A/C interior, and a new performance V8 under the hood this 1970 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is absolutely one of the best classic car values you're going to find.
Daytona Yellow is a great color to have on a Stingray. It's a rare color offered for only a couple of years, and its name alone instantly reminds you of the Corvette's victories on the racetrack. It brightly highlights the crisp lines of the shark-like nose, rounded fenders, and integrated rear spoiler. And this one has two terrific attitudes you can choose from. The black convertible top coordinates with the custom black side vents for a hint of two-tone flair, or you can use the color-matched hardtop to maximize the bold yellow. No matter which way you motor, you're going to enjoy plenty of bright work. On a properly presented '70 that means nicely finished intricate chrome bumpers, bright rocker panels, and iconic Rally wheels.
Inside there have been a ton of great investments. It starts with an upgrade to later-style C3 bucket seats. These tan leather units not only have better bolstering, but they also offer better access to the rear storage. Plus, custom matching door panels, center console, and dash mean you'll be proud to show off this convertible's interior. The custom sports steering wheel also has coordinating tan inserts, and it gives you even better grip. Beyond that is a large speedo and tach, and you have a full array of auxiliary readouts just to the side. But more than just a driver's machine, this one is comfortable, too. Power windows, a tilt steering column, and the stereo has been upgraded to an AM/FM/CD unit that has a fold-out screen for GPS navigation. Because the air conditioning is now blowing cold with modern R134a, you can enjoy the drop top experience well into the summer season.
Under the hood is a fresh GM 350 cubic-inch crate motor. The V8 only has about 2,000 miles on it, and you can tell it's new by the shine of all the polished elements like the intake, air topper, master cylinder, alternator, compressor, and so much more. Beyond the style, you'll find substance you'll really enjoy. The V8 inhales deeply through a four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with authority as headers contribute to the rumble of the Flowmaster dual exhaust. Plus, there is an aluminum radiator w/electric fan so this classic 'Vette can stay cool even if you're in traffic with the A/C pumping. But really we know you're going to be enjoying this one on the open road. After all, the performance on the new V8 combines with a fully independent suspension, a new front sway bar, power steering, a three-speed automatic transmission, and four-wheel disc brakes to create a terrific classic car experience.
There have been a lot of great investments in this cool convertible, so you know it's the right classic Corvette at the right price.BiN $29,995 (Ended) on May 6 and 25, 2018.
