Car history:
2) This is a great car. ALL MATCHING NUMBERS. Restored in 2000, with paint, top, and chrome. Then the brakes started to leak, and it sat for 16 years. I bought the car in undriveable condition because of the brakes, electrical, and engine running on 5 cyls. Brakes needed everything from M/C back. Complete engine and driveline services. Does come with ALL ignition wire sheilds and brackets and bolts and wing nuts. Everything on car works as it should including the original clock and optics. Headlites snap up and down. Heater controls work like butter smooth. Car goes and stops straight. All original as shipped except carb. Pics should say all. Ask any questions. This vehicle is being sold on a CT. bill of sale with copy of past owners Kentucky title.
This car is correct, pulleys, alternator, dist, valve covers. matching #s motor and trans and rear housing. Brake switch works as it should. ALL gages and dash lites, entry lights, clock. Wiring has never been touched except for radio. Comes with original radio and hardtop, which has missing mouldings and paint issues. It does have complete headliner and latches. The paint is a 9 with minor cracks, much less than usual. All top folding hinges are tight and fit nicely under cover, that looks and works perfect. There is still adjustment left on front latches. You would have a hard time finding a cleaner one. Paint was a color coat in 2000.
The interior is perfect. never smoked in. outside rear view mirror is as new tight. No scratches in glass, no rips or tears in interior. adjusters and latches work. Sold $20,299,99 on July 11, 2017.
1) #'s Matching 1968 Corvette Convertible that I purchased from a dentist in Eastern Ky. It has the L79 Option 327 350 HP, 4 Speed with Power Steering. The pictures are not showing the true color due to the light coming through the windows. This car has absolutely the best corvette body I have ever seen. It was painted by C&I Corvette many years ago in its Original Safari Yellow color. At that time the chrome was rechromed and a New Top was installed and the underneath was cleaned up. I contacted the corvette restoration shop that did the work and I was told it was absolutely the best corvette body he had ever seen, he also said the tank sticker was still on top of the tank. I looked with a flash light and it is still there. This car shows 18,000 actual miles on the title and I was told to be true. Everything on the car works including fiber optics, horn. The interior is original and still great. All of the original stickers are in the compartments. The is truely an investment grade car, being really hard to find cars never been in accident. Has the original jack and the yellow hardtop is included and original radio. The brakes has just been gone through and still need to be pressure bled other than that the car is ready to be driven anywhere. The paint still looks very nice, but not perfect. Always keep inside in climate control. This is a correct #'s matching car that hasn't been cut up and messed with. $22,350 (RnM) on November 20, 2016. $25,600 (RnM) on April 16, 2017.
