Car history:
Engine: 427 4bbl, Transmission: 4 speed, Exterior Color: White, Interior Color: Black. Power steering, power antenna, power windows, Correct 427 tachometer, factory aluminum Corvette wheels, side pipes. The look we all wanted in 1968 and still looks great today – the aggressive flowing lines of the third generation Corvette with a removable soft top and side pipes: the Corvette Roadster. Extra sharp in white with white top. Extremely desirable combination, big block car, 4 speed with power equipment. The black interior is in excellent condition with only minor wear, seats are comfortable and supportive. No mechanical problems, no leaks. Brakes stop straight, transmission shifts smooth, throttle very responsive, rides straight down the road and has that unmistakable big block sound. No dents, glass is excellent, and consistent unblemished paint makes an impressive appearance. Frame and undercarriage exquisite. The aluminum wheels give a slightly different appearance as most Corvettes of this vintage have stamped steel wheels. Recent work completed: Rebuilt suspension, top end of motor rebuilt, and stainless steel brake lines added. Nitpicks: This car was originally green but repainted white years ago. There is no evidence of green anywhere, now. There is a small nick at the front of the driver's door. The wheels ARE Corvette factory wheels but are from a 1973 model. This is an original 427 cubic inch 390 horsepower car, but the current engine has no obvious markings so we cannot guarantee matching #'s. Inside, there is slight wear at the carpet behind the seats and some of the lettering on the switches is slightly worn. Overall, a fine example of a C3 Corvette. Not a perfect car, but one anyone would be proud to have in their driveway and take to car shows. Great presentation, just the right stance, great feel, great handling, and the tremendous ‘seat-of-the-pants’ push of a big block. And, of course, the excitement only a drop top can provide. 62,685 miles. Color codes from the trim plate. Built date is L13. August 28, 2010.
