Car history: |
This is a beautiful 1971 Corvette Convertible with a 4-speed manual transimission. Car was original 350/270 HP but has been rebuilt to get the horsepower it deserves. We have owned the car for 6 years and it was rebuilt prior to us purchasing it, so I do not know exactly what was done to it. I can say that it is a very strong running motor and has been extremely reliable. Aside from replacing the water pump, I've not had to do anything to the motor. New BFGoodrich tires were wrapped around the Centerline wheels last year and have less than 1000 miles on them. The Hooker side pipes and headers are the real deal.... fully functional and sound great. The paint is typical for a driver with some minor scratches and dings, but overall she shines up very well and turns heads wherever we go. Interior is original and has normal wear, with no tears or rips in the seats. Headlights still function, although the vacuum is a little slow. Mechanically, I would jump in this car and take it just about anywhere. She has been a great ride, but the wife wants something newer, so she has to go! (the car that is). Good luck.
