Offered for sale is a 1971 LT-1 Corvette convertible with it's original matching numbers power-train including engine (CGZ code), 4 speed transmission, and rear axle (3.70-1 ratio)! This is one of 1949 LT-1's built in 1971 and one of approximately 650 LT-1 convertibles! Color is red (original color is Ontario Orange) with a black convertible top and deluxe black leather interior. This is believed to be an original 61,453 miles car! Prior owner title shows 59,222 miles and is dated 06/2003. This car was built 9th month of 1970 and important numbers are listed below- Engine - V0821CGZ 71S10395 Transmission - P1M 13B 71S101395 Rear axle - AB W 229 1 This car is missing it's original carburetor and distributor (TI box is in the car), current distributor is points type, and the alternator is dated 1973. There is no documentation except the owners manual. The last two (2) owners collectively owned this car the last 23 years. Options include - N40 power steering, deluxe black leather interior (403), A01 tinted windshield, U69 AM/FM radio, M21 close ratio 4 speed transmission, LT-1 330hp/350 V8 engine, black convertible top. This car is driver quality condition with average paint that shows nicks, scratches, and stone chips. Frame is rust-free. The car had minor damage at the right rear 1/4 panel in front of the wheel well. This car runs & drives well with good brakes, near new tires, and a recent tune-up. We have completed or restored many items including a new convertible top, new carpet set, new door weatherstrips, new convertible top weatherstrips, and a new deck lid weatherstrip. In addition, the rear camber control arm rods have been rebuilt, the car has a new factory correct exhaust system with correct tips, rear license frame is a new re-production, we installed a factory correct radio, and rebuilt the interior, installed the seats, and installed the rear compartment doors, and completed the interior with new screws, etc.
