This car has been completely restored including frame, front and rear suspension, Drive line, braking system, differential, electrical system, vacuum system, interior, gauges, body, etc. The car has a General Motors Performance Parts ZZ454 and a Tremec TKO600 5 speed transmission. The rear differentials are 3:70. The rear suspension has been done with a more contemporary fiberglass monospring. A rack and pinion steering system has been installed in the car. The car is cooled through an aluminum radiator with an electric fan. The pulley system and power steering pump are by concept one. The car has been redone to be a driver although it is not driven very often. The car has 4100 miles on the restoration. This car will easily cruise at 70-80 mph despite having 3:70 gears. The engine has an incredible muscle car sound yet idles at about 750 RPM. The engine produces over 500 lbft of torque and is more than the car can handle with stock size tires. The only item on this car that is incomplete is the installation of the windshield wiper motor and vacuum pump that operates the windshield cowl. There is an additional temperature and vacuum guage mounted externally on the cowl that would prevent its operation. the original motor and vacuum pump comes with the car. As this car is not driven in the rain it was never a concern. 4,136 miles from the odometer. Colors from the trim plate. Built date is K26. November 22, 2009. |
