| For sale is an extremely rare Frame Off Restored NCRS Top Flight award winning 1968 Tuxedo Black L89 Corvette Convertible. This amazing car has won NCRS Top Flight Honors at Bowling Green Regional meet, which is a tall order for a triple black L89 Corvette. Factory Options include; L89 Aluminum Cylinder Heads, L71 427ci 435hp, K66 Transistor Ignition System, Tuxedo Black Paint, Black Interior, Black Convertible Soft top, Red Stripe Tires, Posi Traction, 4-Speed Manual Transmission, Custom Shoulder Belts, Head Rest Seats, Tinted Glass, and an AM-FM Radio. This car did receive a professional NCRS Style frame off restoration. The engine compartment is detailed and factory correct. The smog pump is there and operational. The factory shielding and original air cleaner is on the engine. The T.I. ignition is in the front inner drivers side hood area and is operational. The 427ci 435hp engine is the #s matching dated engine, with the #s matching Aluminum Heads, and #s Matching Carburetors. It passed NCRSs judging. The Body looks great with a show quality fit and finish. The Tuxedo Black paint is show quality. I personally inspected all the places on this car where you can only find factory overspray, and all I found was original Tuxedo Black Paint from the factory. There is no question this car was born a Tuxedo Black Corvette. The interior is like new, the original factory gauges work good. The chrome is show quality. The frame is detailed and stenciled to NCRS level details. Its a solid clean frame. We have documents from the NCRS that include proof of the Top Flight, and a Shipping Data Report.
