Professionally built by Bill Dehimer, owner of Full Throttle Performance, Rome, NY. Bill, found this slick 73 while visiting sunny Florida, about 3 yrs. ago. It was a solid, rust free car that fit perfectly in his plans to Resto-Mod (restore-modern) a classic Vette for himself. His plan was to retain the classic look, but dramatically improve it's reliability, performance, & handling. An all new, fuel injected big block, mated to a new high performance 200-4R automatic overdrive trans was the plan. Cruise 70 mph all day at lower rpm's with less engine wear & improved fuel mileage. To insure a quality build, Bill stripped the car down to the frame, the rear end housing & the body. The restoration started by installing a new wiring harness. Then every nut, bolt and screw used and the parts they mounted were new. A certified mechanic with over 40 yrs. experience, Bill spent most of his spare time, the last 2 1/2 yrs, restoring every detail of the car. During the restoration, the latest technology was used everywhere possible and still retain the original classic styling.
